Ying Nung Ma's Touch of New York

January 24th – March 22nd
Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday 1-4pm

Artist Talk: Sunday, March 15th at 2:00pm

Ying Nung (aka Susan) Ma's photographs can make you fall in love with NYC. Having emigrated from Taiwan, she sees the City with fresh eyes. Ms. Ma captures the excitement and energy of New York's iconic sites with her camera, and shows equal aplomb in documenting people and events. This is her first solo exhibition.

The artist is offering an informal gallery talk in Chinese and English on Sunday, March 15th at 2:00pm. She will talk about her techniques and work process, and the locations she documents. Light refreshments served following the talk.

Marna Chester is a multidisciplinary artist who shares our fascination with the beauty of birds. Working in paper, she has created sculpted birds making for a veritable gallery aviary at the Museum.

Meet the artist at a reception on Sunday, April 19th, 2-4pm.
House tours are available on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Museum is closed Easter Sunday, Mother's Day and the afternoon of May16th.

As the Museum is located in a 1890s house with a number of small rooms, we ask that groups interested in taking a tour contact us in advance to better accommodate all visitors. The standard house tour runs 20-30 minutes.

The ground floor of the house is physically accessible. Children must be accompanied by adults.
